I am running Groupshield 5.2 on Exchange 2000. Since installing the Microsoft patch MS02-062, - Cumulative Patch for Internet Information Service (Q327696) - and associated reboot, the McAfee Groupshield Anti-Virus Reports have ceased to be sent to the configured account when a virus is detected.
Within Groupshield Exchange Manager the relevant Log Manager entries contain the following: Component - C\:program files\mcafee\groupshield exchange\i386\avexch32.exe Title - anti-virus service Description - failed to submit the alert message Can anyone suggest a fix to get the reporting working again? (I could find no useful insight on the Network Associates support site or Microsoft Knowledge Base.)
