I am new to this list and I hope to gain more knowledge about Exchange Server. So to begin, I have a problem with our conference rooms.
We current have a mailbox setup called "Resource Proxy" that is the "owner" of all of the conference rooms. When someone schedules a conference room, the resource proxy determines if the room is available (by seeing if "it" has a meeting scheduled for that time) and auto excepts if there is not conflict. There are some major drawbacks of resource scheduling in this manner including some conflicts we have seen in the past. I have looked into new methods to auto resource scheduling in the past, and I would like you to resolve this. I assume there is a more efficient way to script the automatic scheduling of conference rooms or do this in Exchange. I appreciate any help!
