Yes, you can run 5.5 OWA against an E2K server. You can't however install only the OWA component for E2K, there is no 'only OWA component' for E2K. You need to install and configure an E2K FE server.. Which means it needs to be E2K enterprise and communicates on a variety of ports different than 5.5's OWA did.
