What happens if you disable and uninstall the virus scanner? Ed Crowley
-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bridges, Samantha Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 7:40 AM To: Exchange Discussions I only have one Exchange Server (950 mailboxes). All services running from one server. I do notice that the Inetinfo.exe process appears to be in a loop. If I stop the Inetinfo process through the Task Manager, OWA comes back. But it will happen again and again. This has been happening since I moved Exchange 5.5 to Windows 2000 (used to be on NT4.0 sp6). -----Original Message----- From: Ely, Don [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 10:21 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: OWA Unexpectedly goes down. If I took a WAG, I would say that your users aren't logging out of their session properly therefore the resources are not being released. Have you tried running perfmon on the system to see where the problem might be starting? Is OWA all that runs on this box? Did it "just" start happening or has it been going on for some time? Has anything changed since the problem began? -----Original Message----- From: Bridges, Samantha [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 10:18 AM To: Exchange Discussions Exchange 5.5 sp4 Windows 2000 Sp3 OWA My OWA periodically goes down. The memory on the server seems to top out and the page to logon to OWA does not come up. (If I stop the Inetinfo.exe process, OWA works) This has been an ongoing error for months and months now...since I moved Exchange 5.5 to a Windows 2000 server (used to be on NT4.0 sp6). I see errors: 7031 - The IIS Admin Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).
