I was recently examing the Exchange 2000 environment at a new client. I ran the Delegation Wizard at the Org level to see which accounts had rights into Exchange. To my surprise, only a single "ExchangeAdmin" account (not a group) had been granted Exchange Full Admins rights. No other accounts were listed. Yet they have many users that have full control over the Exchange environment. When I asked them about this, they of course said that they didn't do anything, it was always like that.
Upon further investigation, it appears that anyone in the Domain Admins group automatically becomes an Exchange Administrator. Since this is not configured from the Exchange Delegation Wizard, it's obviously being picked up somewhere else. Any idea's where I can check?
