I think I may have found the issue.
And you helped me see it Peter. Thanks.

When my clients begin a new email, and they click the to: button, then click the drop 
down, there are two listings for "Contacts". The problem is, when you click on the 
first one, it states that it is not available, yet the second "Contacts" contain the 
actual contacts.
Not sure how this happened.  Any idea how to easily clean this up?
