Does a small to medium sized company with no particular high-sensitivity data need...encryption, authentication beyond Windows security, VLANs, ACLs on routers, etc?
I agree intrusion detection is likely necessary. I wonder if the hype of vendors is driving this or actual security issues. Pls comment.
