[1]I've sent such things though Exchange before... no problems in terms of volume, but you may consider a majordomo or mailman (or similar) box and a sub-domain of @lists.sanantonio.gov to manage such mailings.
[1] Hi Chris! -----Original Message----- From: Chris Martinez [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Posted At: Wednesday, September 03, 2003 7:46 AM Posted To: swynk Conversation: Mass Mailings Subject: Mass Mailings Hello All- We currently have a division that is requesting to be able to send mass mails through our server to opt-in recipients of a monthly newsletter, this would be upwards of 70,000 pieces per month and will increase as required. My question is has anyone received similar requests and how were they handled? The division head assures me that this list will be maintained and kept up to date and users who request to be removed from the list will be, they currently outsource this project and want to bring it in-house to save money. I believe in the long run this will cause more problems than the savings will add up to, any suggestions would be appreciated.
