I have followed the instructions from Microsoft's deployment paper on upgrading Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. So far, so good. I've run all the preps and verifications, installed Exchange 2003 and ran the final verify.
Everything checks out great EXCEPT these two error messages in the Exchange Server 2003 Configuration Object Checks: The system attendant contains no homeMDB (homeMDB) The system attendant contains no homeMTA (homeMTA) The install program shows that these are two "legitimate" error messages, but doesn't say anything about how to fix them. I'm sure it's something simple, but perhaps it's because I haven't yet migrated any mailboxes yet? I'm hesitant to move forward until I resolve these last two error messages.
