Problem found...One user had a corrupt inbox. Every time this user
launched outlook and clicked on inbox at his workstation he would get a
network problem is preventing outlook to connect and then the IS would
freak out. Deleted account exmerged data out first then recreated
account and exmerged data back in. Solved problem. Is there a utility
like exmerge that can export out the public folders. They have a ton of
email with attachments and I would love to able to export out intact
just in case.

Matt,

I'm curious as to what your anti-virus software was before you removed
it. The only other few times I have seen this problem is with an older
version of Sybari's Antigen (I think it was 7.0). They had a hotfix for
me and I was back up and running normally in less than a day.
