Has something changed on the network? For example, something that would make domain controllers, expecially GCs invisible to the clients (like port 389 or port 3268 closure)? My thinking is that they can't correctly authenticate, or Outlook can't confirm that the user is a valid user because it can't see the Global Address List.
Or maybe someone closed port 135 somewhere?
