I wonder if that is a recent change, when I used them about 2 years ago, it was
like $8 bucks a mailbox and I did not need their professional service
engagement (sound to me like they are adopting the Binary Tree price model).

MigrationWiz was $6 a person.

Quest is expensive. The last time I checked with them, they won't license just
the product to a company. The company needs to purchase a Professional Services
engagement as well. That's been over a year back, so the policy may have
changed.

I would like to take a deeper look at Quest/Dell Software would you happen to
have a contact there?

Cheers

I have used the Quest (migration tool) to do some Domino to Office 365
migration tools to do an EMAIL migration. I have also used MigrationWiz to do
Gmail and Office365 to Office365 migrations. And the Exchange Hybird migration
to migrate on-prem exchange users. All for mail.

I have not done any sharepoint or onedrive migrations with any of the tools.

Has anyone competed the migration capacities of the various Office 365
migration tools?
