I'm sorry, Joe. I missed the E2K.
Drew's article is on some archaic version of Exchange (can you believe some
people still use that stuff???), so awaiting that would be silly.
There is a PFAdmin tool for Exchange2000 and it is found in the Exchange
2000 Resource Kit. It works in a similar means as CACLS.exe from the NT
Resource Kit. It allows output and setting of ACL's only on public folder
hierarchy versus NTFS folders. Information on PFAdmin.exe for Exchange2000:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q287/1/10.asp
Otherwise, minus the cool tool:
Open Exchange System Manager.
Select the top folder you want permissions propogated from (Not the Public
Folders one, but one under it)
RightClick-->All Tasks-->Propogate Settings
Choose what settings you want propogated to subfolders.
Hope that does it for you.
Good night.

Await Drew's article on PFAdmin.exe (I think his son, Max is writing it
actually) from the BORK or beat him to it!

Subject: E2K Public Folder perms
I have a public folder w/ 50 folders under it.
I need to change the perms on all the folders under it to reflect what
the parent perms are. Any way to enable propagation of perms down the
line...
I am gonna hate to change them all manually!!!
