I had this problem after upgrading to Office XP. The only way I could fix
it was to delete and recreate all of my (client side only) rules. I tried
exporting them and re-importing them - no luck. I tried just recreating the
ones with problems - no luck.

Luckily, I am the only person out of about 10 who have upgraded here and
seen this issue.

I see that occasionally myself with Outlook XP and Exch 5.5 sp4 but only on
the rules based on content. Rules based on the From address always work.
Could it be a timing issue as it searches the text?

I seeing the same problem, have not figured out what's wrong yet it seems to
be random. Running W2K Server and Outlook XP accessing Exchange 2000
Service Pack 1.

Na, they are all based on message body contents.
No pattern, just arbitrary...

is there any pattern to when they work? Are the rules fireing off the
display name, or the actual SMTP address of the sender? That can cause a
different reaction from the rules...

Hey Drewski,
They are just rules to move emails from different people into certain
folders. Even my rules that search for "ntsysadmin" in email, and move to my
nt folder are not always working??

Anyone have this happen.
They are server based. Server/Client OS is all Win2ksp2.
This is bugging me!
Sometimes(Less often, then not) they work?
