Interesting !!! We are currently running Scanmail v3.52 and haven't had such
a problem yet.!!

I know we had a problem when we ran Scanmail v3.5x on a Connector server
which only had IMC and a couple of X400 connectors. For some reason, all
mails with attachments were dropped. We did not look more into and
deinstalled it as Scanmail was running on the mailbox servers.

Has this posed a problem for anyone, or should I just use the MAPI mode?
Known Exchange AVAPI Issues:
o We recommend installing ScanMail v3.52 on a server that does not have
the IMC (Internet Mail Connector) installed. During testing we found
some issues with outgoing Internet mail messages containing
attachments, which are routed to Exchange for delivery.
