Hello list,
I have run into some problems that I could really use some advise on if
anyone here knows the answers that they would like to share. My first
problem is how can I add external email addresses to distribution lists in
Exchange 5.5? We are currently using Exchange 5.5 for internal messaging
only and SMTP/POP3 is not setup on the server. Our internet email is being
hosted by our ISP. Will this configuration pose a problem? I am new to
exchange, but not internet email...
My second problem is that a friend of mine is trying to migrate his company
from Microsoft Mail to Exchange 2000. Somehow this company has managed to
keep using this mail system for many years with upwards of 100 users. The
problem he is running into is that now that Exchange 2000 is in place, is
there any way to import all of the user's .PST files into exchange without
having to open them all individually and drag and drop the contents of the
.PST to their mailboxes on exchange 2000?
If anybody has any comments or suggestions, I would love to hear them as I
am stumped at this point! :(
