You guys are going down the wrong path. This is an email distribution list.I want to send email to all the members, but I don't want each of them to see who it was sent to.In the to: area, they should see the DL group name, and not all the members. These are all internet addresses, and when I do testing and receive these messages, I still can see all members of the DL.It's a client configuration, not a Server config.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your responses.

"Hide membership from address book" will hide the DLs MEMBERSHIP from the ADDRESS BOOK.

It will not hide the DL from the Address Book...that's a different setting on the same page called "Hide from Address Book".

Not hide it from the Address Book.Hide the addresses in the to: column from the receiver of the message.

Hi all.

I can't remember for the life of me how to set up a distribution list and send messages to it so that it won't show the entire list.I remember doing it a long time ago, and it would show up and all people would see is the name of the DL, and not the addresses of everyone.Anyone have a MS article or a good way of doing this?
