SLMail from Seattle Labs and Imail from Ipswitch are decent pop 3 email servers.

Does anybody know of any good alternatives to Exchange. I have a client
that has about 5 users and doesn't want to pay the price for Exchange so
i am searching for a cheaper, or better yet free, alternative. Any
