Conferencing Server is a separate product, but it does require an
Exchange 2000 server somewhere in your domain. It's best installed on
its own server.

Subject: Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Questions

In light of current events we are looking at Exchange 2000 Conferencing
Server in order to decrease our travel.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I have never even seen it.
I am getting ready to install the evaluation but wanted to know if
anyone had any comments or suggestions first.

Does it require a dedicated machine or does it run on the Exchange mail
server? Do I have to upgrade my 5.5 server to 2000 in order to run
Conferencing server (if it runs on a dedicated server)? Is Conferencing
server a stand alone package or does it require Exchange 2000 to run?

I know that some of these question are redundant but after talking to 2
different people at Microsoft Sales I am completely confused as to what
is required as a result of there conflicting answers.

Sincerely,
Vince
