Of course that requires that employees don't depend on attachments to email
to do their job. Like managing abstracts, articles and manuscripts literally
by the thousand submitted from all over the world from Academics who often
are on very open and unprotected systems. Maybe in my next life ;^P

Have not a virus problem in years with email. The solution, block all
attachments, minus zip files. Has never failed me.

Is anybody having a problem where the Nimda virus isn't being picked up
by the latest definitions from Symantec? I've just tested our server as
our workstations are falling like flies and it's not being detected...
any ideas (i'm on hold to symantec at the moment)... I've disabled IMC
for the time being as it doesn't seem to propigate over Outlook 2000
only outlook express. Mathew
