Change
it to whatever you want. I'll still know the same amount of information
about your system. I'll still know you use Exchange, but on top of
that, I'll know you changed the telnet banner. Oooooo. You're so
secure!
It is
not a supported feature of Exchange to change it. There is a way, however,
not that I know it.
Silly
vendors. Put them on the line and have them justify this request.
Do you
have to pay these people?

all. But my management hired external vendor to do the perimeter scan. So
since they couldn't find anything else, they recommend:
