Trend Micro Medium Risk Virus Alert - TROJ_KLEZ.C

Dear Trend Micro Customer:

TROJ_KLEZ.C, a variant of TROJ_KLEZ.A, is a destructive worm that
propagates via email, as an executable attachment called WQK.EXE. It
exploits a vulnerability that enables an executable attachment in
Microsoft Outlook's preview pane.

On the 13th of any even month (February, April, June, August, October,
December), the worm attempts to execute its destructive payload of
overwriting all files with zeros. This worm routine has a bug and
therefore fails to perform the task.

TROJ_KLEZ.C is detected by pattern file #166 or #966.
