If those 2 courses aren't available under Exchange 2000 are the 1572 Admin course and 1573 Design course. Pocket book for Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 are also good to use for quick questions as well. Melissa Medina MCT, MCSE, MCP+I, A+, Network +, Exchange 5.5/2000 Courses are great but a lot depends on the instructor. Courses also tend to be focussed on the entire product at a basic level and not just as it applies to your company in the real world. Find a reputible Microsoft approved facility. Check out the instructor first. There are several authors on Exchange Server on this list as well. The rub comes from the fact that my daily responsibilities far exceed my allocation of time and the slice of that pie I set aside for furthering my education always seems to get the shaft. An offsite course would allow me to discard those responsibilities and focus and the subject matter within a structured environment. I'm certainly not looking for any spoon feeding (I know that your days probably mirror mine with respect to demands on your time), but rather a suggestion of a class that someone has already benefited from. I am willing and interested in doing the leg work, but I thought there might be some valuable suggestions to be gleaned from the list membership. Thanks again for your time and consideration. -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Miller [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, November 19, 2001 1:57 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Seeking recommendations for Exchange Admin course www.swinc.com <http://www.swinc.com> buy the archive Cdrom. read it, and do you best to answer the questions. read the answers and try some them. read the DR white paper. again goto www.swinc.com <http://www.swinc.com> and read the FAQ, learn the FAQ, live the FAQ, love the FAQ, Give the FAQ flowers. if you do that nonstop for 5 days. and you don't know exchange, you never will. I find myself now responsible for a 600+ user exchange site spread across multiple servers and multiple sites, and I'm feeling as if there are holes in my knowledge base. Can anyone recommend a 5 day comprehensive Exchange course that you felt helped you in your development. We are currently Exchange 5.5, but looking forward to ADS and Exchange 2000. Any literature or class suggestions would be appreciated. I've been reading this and 1 other list serve, and they have been a great help but I feel I owe it to my employer to fill in the gaps.
