But I wasn't whining about the question not being answered! I'm perfectly
fine working to solve a problem. 

Most of the time the response on this list is amazing. I was merely making a
statement.

Perhaps I should restate it. To all newbies: Please give only a little
information when you post a problem to this list, then answer the usual
questions as replies. For the most part, people prefer to read short amounts
of information rather than to take it in all at once, so short messages get
replies, long ones don't.

That's it. I'm not complaining, and I haven't seen anyone deny that the
above is true.
