Has anyone had a
problem using Ex SP2 and authentication? I have my mail server sitting out here
and everyone connects to it via pop3/smtp. I used to be able to authenticate and
then send through the smtp but since SP2 I have to set it to anonymous which
means Im open to spamming. I tried it on another server and am having the same
issue. If I put it back to user/pass required, even with clear text, when I send
mail I immediatley get an NDR. We are all configured the same way with the
authenticate to send mail option in Outlook 2000 and XP.
Anyone?
