I've also seen this when a reminder isn't working properly. You can try /cleanreminders, but we had to isolate the item - it turned out to be a task with a reminder set. In order to isolate it, we had to move the items to a PST, then move them back to the mailbox a little at a time to see when the hang happened again.

I have 2 clients who just started having the following issues: Client - Win2K SP2- Outlook 2000 Server- Win2K - Exchange 5.5 SP4 1. Outlook will hang within 15 minutes of launching, taking ~100% CPU Usage. Rendering the machine unusable until the process is killed. 2. Outlook will hang immediately when launched and they try to access their Calendar. Same hanging as above. Could this be a corrupt Inbox or Calendar? How would I go about fixing it, aside from re-creating their entire mailbox? I have tried the Inbox repair tool, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Help is greatly appreciated! rjk Randy j.
