Question: Deleted Items Retention

Does anybody know if I'll have to restart the Exchange IS service (or any other services) if I enable "Deleted Items Retention" as well as Private Information Store "Storage Limits"?  This Exchange5.5 SP4 on WinNT4.0 SP6a + hot fixes.  Thanks in advance!  Dimitri List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm
