Title: RE: Exchange 5.5 troubles with Mac's
I too am responsible for a handful of Macs in an NT world...

Things worked great with Exchange and the macs for years.  One day, nada.  I swear I changed NOTHING.  And I'm the only one who would have.  I added the host entries.  No help.  Worked with MS PSS.  Nothing.  The refunded the calls even.  For s&g, I built another test server on a PC.  Guess what.  Worked FINE!!!  I've checked, and rechecked everything.  There is NO difference between these boxes.  They connect to one, but not the other.  I just learned to live with it...

A Macintosh on an NT network isn't a happy thing.. but for the most part it does work.  We have a few diehards that will NOT swtich to PC, so they suffer a bit. If anyone's ever been able to get the Mac's to dial in and retrieve mail I'd love to know how.

I can make it dial in and it seems to connect and stay connected to the server, but that's the extent of it. I can't connect to the exchange server.

I have an Exchange 5.5 SP4 server that works fine with the win2k machines on my network, but is just starting to have problems with some macs.  I setup 5 macs on my network to use the server and it was working fine for a day and a half, but now when they go to open outlook 8.2 on their Mac, it asks for the login info, but then errors out saying they have network issues and to talk to your administrator.  I am at a lost, as I am not a Mac expert.  The macs are able to access network resources as well as the internet.  Any ideas?

Chris
