Hi,

Need some advise on this.
Platform NT4.0 SP 6a, Exchange 5.5.SP4.

We have some Mac users in the campus.  One lecturer installed with
the new email client from Microsoft called Entourage.  We have
configured the application to download mails with no problem.
But sending out of email has a problem.  Because our IMS is
set to no relay, the IMS will not send mails submitted by this
application.

For Entourage to send out mails I have to enable
by checking "Hosts and Clients that successfully authenticated".
After enabled this Entourage can send mails out.

I have some concern on this.  Basically this settings bypass
the no relaying feature in IMS.  Any users can configured any
email clients on any platform point to the IMS, supplying their
username and password and they will be allowed to sending
mails out to internet.

Any suggestions should I allow this?

Thanks
