That is typical but you can stop antigen then start up exchange services. If
you turn the antigen services to manual - exchange will come on but antigen
will not.

I was going to stop the Antigen services...but I get the dependent message
for all the Exchange services (which would also stop)

Try turning off the AV for a while. See if the problem persists or goes
away. If it persists, I would advise a call to MS.

me "The Microsoft Exchange Directory service terminated unexpectedly. It
has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0
milliseconds: No Action"

Source: Service Control Manager

Well, I rebooted and now I'm able to send out mail again. But the same
problem as before, My IS and IMS still shuts down unexpectedly with the ID
7031 error. Are there any patches I need to put on besides the Win2k ones?

thanks,

Fred Valdez
