No they are not on the same SP because....<here comes the old
stories/problems again>

I upgraded the imc to Sp4 and then the problems started with that system
with sort of hanging after a while it didn't send emails nor was delivering
it to the rest of the exchange servers (that could only be spotted in the
connector/queue's).

Also after a while when a user send an email he could get a delivery failure
(which I forgot) by rebooting the imc <which took ages> the problem solved
but not for long. In that period I had to reboot the server twice a week and
now it is once in a while but still have this error.

My next thing is to just put logging more onto maximum. <but I rather do
that as last resort as it doesn't happen to often the imc gets stuck and max
log creates a lot of things you don't want to see as well.

I just hope some of you has seen the same problem or issue and is able to
help...

Groetjes,

Nicole

You really will familiarize yourself with the disaster recovery whitepapers
following that route.

Nicole, what are the connection settings on the IMS?
Is the IMS box on the same sp as the other Exchange servers?

Hi Everone !

For your case i'm not having much info so i can just
tell u that instead of rebooting the server you kill
the service and then restat the service it should work
fine .
