Usage or message quantity stats

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of getting some stats together to ascertain the amount of e-mails that are being sent to and from and exchange server. ie approx number of e-mails inbound & outbound.   We are using 5.5 sp4   Comments appreciated   John Stevens MAM Software Ltd     List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm
