I've seen this before. It's usually NOS service pack related. Try re-applying SP4 of Exchange and see if that fixes it. I bet it broke after installing WIN2K SP2. I'm not sure what causes it.. something on the IIS side gets whacked and the Exchange WEB side loses some registered DLL's.

The other option is to find the DLL that runs that process in webmail and unregister it and re-register it in IIS 5.0

hope that helps..

Subject: OWA and forwarding file attachments

When we forward an email that has an attached file, the attachment gets dropped when using OWA. Has anyone had any problems with forwarding emails which have attached files?  Is this normal behavior?

Windows 2000 SP2, Exchange 5.5 SP4, NT 4.0 Domain.  OWA on same server as exchange.

TIA
