I looked at Symantec's product when I evaluated anti-virus for my Exchange system.  Going in I was biased towards it because I'd always used NAV as my desktop product.  I found that it was not the best product for Exchange in my environment and went with Trend instead.   Ever since then, I've watched this list when there's a virus outbreak.  Symantec users are sometimes left without protection for a couple of days.    Look through the archives at the times outbreaks happened and see what the Exchange administrators went through.   Jacqueline -----Original Message----- From: Lathrum Matt-P55173 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, April 10, 2002 2:39 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Is virus protection on the Exchange server necessary?
