Title: RE: Stopping the madness
Most of the sales guys are out on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday.  They don't have email on the road capabilities and therefore cant reply to emails internally or externally.  they are required to set the OO so that co-workers and customers don't think they are being ignored.

What I have done is limited all sales mailboxes to 1MB outbound.  That's working but it is not the ideal solution as they complain when the cant send .pdf brochures to customers.  If the OO rules can be disabled that might help the problem.

They won't send to the Internet, correct, but will work internally. Otherwise, I am not aware of a way to limit OOO

Thanks Erik

Won't that also disable the O_O_A.  The VP of sales is in love with it and
has made it a capital crime for Salespeople not to use it.

Disable "Automatic replies to the Internet" on the IMC at the Exchange
server.
