Subject: Migration of mailboxes and decommissioning of old server withing 1 site

Hi there all,

I am running exchange 5.5 sp4 on NT4 and am replacing one of my servers with a newer one as the lease is running out.

I have brought the second server up in the same site and have migrated most of the users and all the connectors to the new server. I still need to do rehome some ofthe public folders and move some of the DL's. Any good tools about for DL moves?

I can vaguely remember something being said about a few things you need to do prior to shutting down the old server, but am unable to find anything on the web other than what I have mentioned above. Can anybody tell me what dependencies a site has on the first server. Any pointers would be great !!!

Thanks
Jacques
