One of my users
called complaining that he setup his auto reply but it doesn't work. Since the
user is remote I was able to log on to his machine via pcanywhere and started
the troubleshooting. When I enabled auto reply on his machine I did a test from
my machine I automatically got his auto reply. However when I send a test
message to test his auto reply from an external email address I didn't get any
response. The user told me that he did get the test message but I didn't get the
auto reply.
The user is running
Outlook XP service pack 1
We have exchange 5.5
server service pack 4
Any suggestions why
external auto reply is not working but internal is ???
