The extra throughput when teamed on the same subnet is negligible, but you
do get a bit of redundancy in that (depending on the manufacturer) if one
fails, all further activity will be born by remaining NIC -- classic
failover.

For our W2K Exchange 5.5 OWA server is there any point in using two network
cards if the computer is going to be on the same subnet? Perhaps just for IP
filtering?? Thanks!
