It's not a bug so reinstalling won't fix this issue. Check out this Q article on the subject.

I posted this before and no one had an answer, it has happened again.
I have a new client with win2k/office xp. In the address book of Outlook is the contacts but it lists ALL revisions
For example if I have Joe Smith email,fax,phone in my contact list I show

Joe Smith
Way on the right if I scroll the box over Ill see (smtp:) (fax:) type stuff. This is the second client to have it. An uninstall/reinstall does not fix it. I was going to try the msi uninstaller programs to completely wipe office, but there has to be something somewhere. Im not even what to look under in mskb as a description of the problem.
