Its accurate enough from a vendor's perspective. Trend on NT/2K is stable and generally works well. Trend for sendmail/linux/solaris et al has a nasty habit of being an open relay by default. This can be corrected by complicating the configuration considerably, but it feels shakey. Cheers, Marty

"Trend Micro's InterScan Message Security Suite is one of the thorough virus and content scanner on the market. In addition, InterScan is one of most widely utilized e-mail gateway solutions that are commercially available to date." Would this be a fairly accurate statement? In my readings of this list, it has seemed that the most widely implemented solutions were Mail Marshall and Mail Essentials. We're trying to get some help in setting up a mail gateway and this is a statement by one of the consultants that we've interviewed. --Lisa List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm
