Hey guys
i have the following
exchange issue.
I have exchange 5.5
service pack 4
Each user has a
mailbox that is tied in to their username.
About a month
ago some of the people in the field got rim pagers
so they could
all communicate effectively. The rim pagers are by imcingular and all have their
own emails addresses.
My manager
instructed me to add these emails addresses to our global address list so that
everyone could have access to email these pagers. I created custom recipients
and added space bar and typed in pager in display and alias name. Now a moth
later when i tried to send an email to a user who has both a custom recipient
and a mailbox. When i typed their first initial and last name in outlook and tab
over their display name didn't show up. It appears there is a conflict
somewhere. I looked in the X400 properties under each user and
found that between the custom recipient and the mailbox the x400 is the
same.
I am very confused
what to do next
can anyone shine any
light on this for me.
