That's excellent, do you happen to have the number handy? -----Original Message----- From: Garland Mac Neill [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, July 11, 2002 3:56 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: A little OT but Cisco Routers are giving me Fits. They won't because they are new. Although, come to think of it, I don't think Cisco has ever charged me. -----Original Message----- From: Jeremiah Watson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, July 11, 2002 1:50 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: A little OT but Cisco Routers are giving me Fits. Won't they charge me an arm and a leg? or they won't because they're new? Best advice is to call Cisco. They will help you get configured right. -----Original Message----- From: Jeremiah Watson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, July 11, 2002 1:33 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: A little OT but Cisco Routers are giving me Fits. Ok Gentleman and ladies here's another one for ya out there in computerland. I just go a full T1 circuit installed between us and a remote site and I am currently trying to configure our CISCO 1720 routers with the Wic1 T1 DSU cards in them to talk to each other via transparent bridging, I know there are better ways but this is what they want right now. I think my config looks good on both sides but I just can't seem to get them to talk. Here is the config for the one side and the other side is identical with the obvious changes of ip's. service timestamps debug uptime service timestamps log uptime service password-encryption service tcp-small-servers service udp-small-servers ! hostname xxxx ! ! ip name-server ! ip subnet-zero no ip domain-lookup no ip routing ! interface Serial 0 no shutdown description connected to NB service-module t1 clock source line service-module t1 data-coding normal service-module t1 remote-loopback full service-module t1 framing esf service-module t1 linecode b8zs service-module t1 lbo none service-module t1 remote-alarm-enable ip address 192.20.53.163 255.255.255.0 encapsulation hdlc bridge-group 1 keepalive no ip-directed-broadcast no ip route-cache ! interface FastEthernet 0 no shutdown description connected to CE ip address 192.20.53.163 255.255.255.0 no ip route-cache full-duplex bridge-group 1 ! ip classless no ip http server ! snmp-server community public RO no snmp-server location no snmp-server contact bridge 1 protocol ieee ! line console 0 transport input none line aux 0 line vty 0 4 login ! no scheduler allocate end Anybody have any ideas on it? oh and should they both get their clock from the line or should one get it from the other? I'm so confused and tired of fighting with it.
