What about permissions to the share? Do these people have appropriate rights to the file? (i.e. can they browse via windows explorer and open the file ok?) Is an error displayed when they click the link?

More of an outlook question here. Some people create hyperlinks to documents on our file server and then send the links out via email. Most users can click on this link and open the file (the file can be excel, word, etc). However, there are a few users who cannot. I have checked for differences and all file associations and don't see why they cannot open these links. Any ideas?
