We have been running it since December without any problems. Our few Vista clients along with our XP clients still connect to OWA both externally from the internet and internally thru our intranet.
Also, you may need to apply KB924334 as well. We did. I had heard in the fall that applying this patch would break OWA for XP users. From what I have read on this KB page it does not say anything about causing issues with XP users.
