I have the original from Sent items and have already done what you suggest. It points to the message being edited before forwarding, but just wanted to see if there was another way.

If you have subjects being listed in your message tracking, you could at least search for the message-id, size, subject, date, etc. etc. - that would be strong evidence, although not conclusive.
