Well - it has been over 24 hours and still not able to replicate public
folders from my original server to new replacement server. I have turned
up diagnostic logging on public folders and I can see replication
messages (both in and out) on the original server fine. On the new
server I can see outgoing replication messages to the old server but no
incoming messages from the old server whatsoever. This is weird - emails
are being delivered to the new server so why no replication messages ?
Anyone have any ideas..

That has nothing to do with sp1/sp2/whatever. Public folders have always
been that way. PF replication is black magic.

Wow, with issues like that, maybe we'll be waiting for SP2 before
beginning our upgrade.  I had hoped to get started shortly now that BES
4.1.5 is out, but with these kind of things happening (amongst others
that
have drifted by) the warm fuzzies are getting rather threadbare.
Email/Calendaring/PF is just too important...
