I have a user that left the company last year. Her account/mailbox was deleted two months ago. I'm trying to see if I can do a restore of her mailbox in production using the Recovery Storage Group with Exchange 2007. I have an account setup called "Exchange Restore". When I start to merge her mailbox into the Exchange Restore mailbox (into a folder called restore), everything works fine. I can see several hundreds mb of data being moved to the folder in the Exchange Restore mailbox. However, when the Mailbox Merge completes (and I receive the message "The merge or copy action has been successfully completed).....poof, all the data in the Exchange Restore mailbox has vanished and is down to 0 Kb.
