Anybody using the export-mailbox cmdlet to dump mailboxes to PST files?

An oddity I am experiencing. Some mailboxes, if I use the -startdate switch,
fail. But if I remove the -startdate switch the export succeeds. Anybody have
any ideas why thie would happen? Exchange 2007 SP1.

Failure Message:

Error occurred in the step: Moving messages. Failed to copy messages to the
destination mailbox store with error: MAPI or an unspecified service provider.
ID no: 00000000-0000-00000000 error code: -1056749164

exact command I am using is

get-distributiongroupmember "groupname" | export-mailbox -startdate 02/20/2008
-baditemlimit 0 -pstfolderpath d:\mailboxes

If I remove any switch BUT the -startdate one it fails.

If I remove the -startdate switch, the export works.

Any ideas?

Thanks
