Do you know where this would be in IIS7? I know exactly what your talking about on IIS6 ... however our EX07 is runnin on server 2008 and IIS7 is like a completely different animal. I spent a lot of time trying to find where stuff is. I like the new MMC but how about a little backward compatability?
I can right click the virtual directory and click 'edit permissions' which brings up the 'Owa Properties' window which has the normal sharing, security etc tabs but not the 'directory security' options which is definitely different. Ideas? Thanks! Ehren J. Hit the Directory Security tab, then edit 'authentication and access control'. Drop in your domain for the default domain. I have that set on the exchange directory, the exchweb directory and the owa directory. Not sure if you need all of those or not but it works. We are using exchange 2007 and our OWA login for some reason requires you to use the domain in your username ( domain\username ). When we had a test setup going it did not require that. The only reason I can think of that it is requiring it in our production setup is that we have more than one domain in our forest. All the users that use mail come from only one of the domains though, and that is the domain exchange is installed in. Is there a way to make it "assume" a domain so the users do not have to enter that every time. We have many complaints about that. Thanks Ehren J.
