But is it legit mail or is it just some group trying to spread the word?

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes
here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he
shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an
outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or
birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming
in every facet an American, and nothing but an American... There can be
no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but
something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one
flag, the American flag.. We have room for but one language here, and
that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole
loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Teddy Roosevelt; 1907

I'll be taking my lumps like a big boy now........

Last time this came around there were several companies that I had to
have get new domain names and IP addresses. because of the spam level.
One of them installed smtp zombies on the workstations and they all
tried to send out a million emails each per night.
What a pain.

Sounds valid - if ya google [EMAIL PROTECTED], there are what
appear to be valid results.

Looks like we got some purporting to be from [EMAIL PROTECTED] but
it was about 10 days or so ago and I don't have detailed logs that far
back.

Don:

The National Do Not Call Registry is legitimate,
http://www.donotcall.gov - it's funded by the Do-Not-Cal Improvement Act
of 2007; however as far as I know this is the first I have heard of the
Fed soliciting for it.

In the last hour my users have recieved emails purporting to be the Fed
looking for people to join the DO NOT Call List. Anybody seen this
one?
I'm taking major heat because I said don't do it. Let me know what you
think.
